ANNOUNCEMENTS
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 3RD, 2010
DAY 1
MEETINGS:
YEARBOOK - Meeting after school today for all members . This could be the most important meeting of the year.
STUDENT COUNCIL TREASURERS - Meeting tomorrow at noon in Room 407.
TOSH COFFEE HOUSE - HAITI RELIEF - All those involved students and staff, there will be an important meeting Friday at noon in the Lecture Theatre. This includes both performers and helpers.
- All proceeds go to this relief. Donations at the door. March 11th at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. for art show. This show case is open to the public so we encourage students, family and friends to attend.
MRS. CRAIG’S TRIP TO ECUADOR - Information meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre. Open to any students at TOSH who may be interested.
SPORTS:
GIRL POWER - Today after school.
WOMEN’S SOFTBALL - Practice this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. at TOSH.
FAN BUS - Traveling to UPEI tomorrow night for the Basketball Provincials. Those interested, please sign up in the Phys. Ed. Office or see Mr. Arsenault.
GENERAL:
PEER HELPERS - Block meetings will take place in the CSLC room on Tuesday this week. Please go to your assigned class for attendance first. New Scenario is available in the main office by the corrected assignment box and is due this Friday.
REACH FOR THE TOP - Today - No Game-Calculus help at noon, Thursday - Barons vs. Cougars, and Friday - No Game.
STUDENT ART WORK NEEDED - For auction during the Coffee House for Haiti Relief. Any students wishing to donate artwork to be auctioned off or just for display are asked to see Mrs. Evans in Room 617 asap. Any form of work is acceptable and you don’t have to be an art student.
SOLAR CAR AND AUTO CLUB NIGHT - Those interested in doing this for Skills Canada race are asked to contact Mr. Harvey (automotive) or Mr. MacKinnon (automotive). The build will take place on Thursdays 3:30p.m. - 7:00 pm. And Saturday mornings 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the TOSH trades building located at 100 industrial crescent. Note: Students do not have to be enrolled in automotive courses to participate.
STUDENT SERVICES:
- Check the new up-to-date Bursary Board.
- Grade 12 students transcripts for destination of choice is now up and running
- Forum For Young Canadians 1 week in Ottawa during the Spring of 2010. Work and experiencing Parliament Hill. For more details, see your Social Studies Teachers or stop by Student Services.
- Holland College Slemon Park PEI Skills Competition day March 3 and 4 9:00-3:00. All are welcome.
- RCMP Career Presentation for Women will take place at UPEI on Thurs., Mar. 11th at 6:00 p.m.
- Atlantic Canada Youth Leadership Conference. Time is approaching April 15-18. Stop by Student Services.
