DAY 1
MEETINGS:
GROUP: AP BIOLOGY - All student who have signed up for this, are asked to attend a brief meeting in Room 611 on Tues., June 11th at noon sharp. If you cannot attend this meeting, please see Mr. Higginbotham before Friday. This is important information for all AP students.
TO SEE MR. MACDONALD - The following students are to see Mr. MacDonald today: Jordan Curtis and Jarrett MacRae.
SPORTS:
SPORTS BANQUET - will take place on Sat., June 13th for all sports teams.
GENERAL:
PHYS. ED. LOCKS - Beginning on Fri., June 12-Wed., June 17 from 11:30-12:30 p.m., locks can be returned to Mrs. Thomson or Mr. Arsenault. The gym hallway will be locked from 12:30 - 3:20 p.m.
YEARBOOKS - Can be picked up from your home room teacher.
- If there are any concerns, see Mrs. Callbeck in Room 410.
- Extra yearbooks will be on sale this week at noon in Room 501 (11:45-12:30 p.m.) at a cost of $50.00. First come, first served basis.
CARON’S DRIVER’S ED. - First two weeks in July 9-12. Applications can be picked up in the main office.
ALL GRADE 12 STUDENTS - REMINDER - Safe Grad and Grad Banquet Tickets will be on sale all week in Student Services between 12:00-12:30 p.m. After Monday, June 15th Safe Grad Tickets will be $40.00 instead of $20.00.
BAND STUDENTS - Reminder to all band students of the Band Banquet this Friday night.
GRAD BRICK PAINTING - Will take place for interested Grade 12 student following the end of Grade 12 exams. Dates and times will be as follows: Monday, June 15th, Tuesday, June 16th, Wednesday, June 17th - 12:00-3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 18th - 9:00-11:30 a.m. and 1:00-3:00 p.m.
- These are the only dates when painting will take place. Please come in clothes you don’t mind ruining. Each student may purchase only one brick at a cost of $5.00 and payment must be made before painting can begin.
PEER HELPERS - All Resource Binders and Pocketbooks must be in to Ms. Haire this week. "Guided Reflection #8" is due Friday and the handout is in the file folder in the main office. Come to the CSLC Room during your Peer Helping Block if you would like to do a hand print. Also, check your corrected duotang for an important note that must be returned to Ms. Haire this week.
REMINDER - LIFE CD’S - FREE THE CHILDREN - Being sold today in front of the Lecture Theatre for $4.00.
STUDENT SERVICES:
- All graduates - Destination of Choice - sign up sheet is now available in Student Services. If you are planning on attending post secondary upon graduation, you must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent.
- Please show proof of your scholarship offer to a Student Services Representative - Nothing can be stated at graduation regarding your scholarship if verification is not presented. If not, NO transcript will be sent in June, and no statement of congratulations of award will be mentioned on Graduation Night.
- A few bursaries still left. Also some re listing for those who qualify should apply. Last chance to apply.
- WATA - dependant of a teacher etc.
- Kathleen Williams Nursing bound students.
- Applications for summer jobs at Sand Spit, Shining Waters and Burlington Amusement Park are available in Student Services. Start dates June 15-Sept. 7.

MEN’S SOFTBALL TEAM - Hand in jerseys asap. The following players are asked to see Mr. MacDonald today at lunch in the industrial arts area: Jordan Curtis, Tyson Phillips, Tyson Arsenault, Steve Brazil, Jarrett MacRae, Ben Johnson, Cleve McNeill and Clark Gallant.

WOMEN’S "AAA" RUGBY TEAM - Won the Bronze Medal last night defeating Westisle 17-0. Congratulations to players and coaches Krista Hickey and Jane McKillop.

MEN’S "AAA" RUGBY TEAM - Captured their second Provincial Title in a row defeating Rural 21-0 last night. Congratulations to players and coaches Mr. Voye and Mr. Hockin for another successful season.

GIRL POWER - At 3:40 p.m. today.
MEN’S SOFTBALL - Defeated Colonel Gray last night 13-3. Top batters were Jarrett MacRae and Jordan Curtis each chipping in with home runs. TOSH will now move on to the semi finals on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Queen Elizabeth Park. The final will take place at 3:00 p.m.
- Practice today at 3:30 p.m. at Queen Elizabeth Park.
MEN’S "A" RUGBY - Will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m. today for a 3:00 p.m. play off game at Colonel Gray. Pick up early dismissal forms from Mr. Arsenault in the phys. ed. office.
WOMEN’S "AAA" RUGBY - Play semi final game at home at 5:30 p.m.
- Final will take place on Thursday at 5:00 p.m.
MEN’S "AAA" RUGBY - Play semi final game at home at 6:30 p.m.
