DAY 1
MEETINGS:
SANOFI-AVENTIS BIOTALENT CHALLENGE - There will be a very brief meeting for all students involved in this, at the beginning of lunch today in Room 611. All students taking part in the competition must attend. This meeting should only be approximately 5 minutes.
PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE - Meeting today at 12:00 noon in Romm 407.
SADD - Meeting Friday in Room 311 for all members. New members are welcome.
PROM - Meeting at the first of lunch today in Room 110. Bring your lunch.
SPORTS:
POWER LIFTING TEAM - Meeting on Tuesday after school on Oct. 13th. Team members are asked to bring in their permission forms and meet in the Fitness Room.
INTRAMURAL RUGBY (TOUCH) - Any students (male and female) interested in this, sign up outside the gym office.
WOMEN’S "A" VOLLEYBALL - Team meeting at 12:15 p.m. Everybody must attend.
MEN’S VOLLEYBALL - Defeated Rural last night 3-0. Players please get early dismissal forms in the phys. ed. office.
FIELD HOCKEY - Team tied 1-1 last night to Rural. Lone goal scorer was Brittany Bradshaw.
GOLF TEAM - Meet in the Industrial Arts classroom today at the noon bell. All are expected to attend.
GENERAL:
YEARBOOK - Surveys and chosen ones, can be picked up in the main office if you have not yet completed yours and must be returned no later than Wed., Oct. 14th. Grad bios and baby photos must be handed in no later than Oct. 21st at the latest. Make sure your full name is indicated on both.
VOCAL ENSEMBLE - Rehearsal Friday morning at 8:00 a.m.
REACH FOR TOP - Today - Vipers vs. Crusaders, Friday - No Game.
JOSTEN’S GRAD RINGS - A representative will be here Friday at noon for those interested in ordering grad rings. A $50.00 deposit is required to begin creating your ring. For more information on grad rings, booklets can now be picked up in the main office.
STUDENT SERVICES:
- Check the new Bursary Board. Stop by Student Services for details.
- If you are an aboriginal youth and are interested in a business program sponsored by the Business Development Bank of Canada, stop by Student Services for details.
- Mount "A" Open House Friday, Oct. 23rd. You must register a head of time if planning to attend.
- Sign up sheet in Student Services for Wilderness Adventure Program presented on Oct. 9th. This will be great.
- Any student interested in tutoring, please leave your name and area of interest to tutor at Student Services.
