ANNOUNCEMENTS

DAY 1
MEETINGS:
FREE THE CHILDREN - All those wishing to participate in Halloween for Hunger please attend a brief but important meeting today at 12:00 noon in Room 309.
PROM COMMITTEE - Meeting in Room 110 today at the first of lunch. Members are asked to bring their lunches with them.
TARAH CRAIG - To see Ms. Biggar in the library.
REMEMBRANCE DAY PRESENTATIONS - Important meeting in Room 309 today at the noon bell for all students involved.
DJ CLUB - Important meeting at the noon bell in Room 307.
SADD - Meeting today at noon in Room 311. New members are always welcome.
STUDENT COUNCIL - Important meeting today at noon for the students attending the Provincial Conference. This is a mandatory meeting so get your permission slips signed and bring your lunch to Room 407 at the noon bell on Thursday.
TOSH POLICE PROGRAM - Any students wishing to join or get more information, are asked to attend a meeting on Nov. 2nd at 12:15 pm. in the Lecture Theatre. Sign up sheet is in Room 202.
SPORTS:
WOMEN’S SOCCER TEAM - Yearbook photo will take today, Thursday, Oct. 29th at 12:00 noon sharp in the gym. Full uniform please!!!
- Please return uniforms to Mrs. Thomson asap.
MEN’S SOCCER TEAM - Defeated Bluefield 4-1 last night. Scoring for TOSH were Tyson Arsenault (2), Besnik Paloja and Keith Girard. The men will play in the championship game Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the UPEI field.
DODGEBALL INTRAMURALS - Begins Tues., Nov. 2nd. Team sign up sheet is on the gym office window.
GENERAL:
JUST BY CHANCE - Is an independent short film which is being shot in Ch’Town in Nov. It is a drama following a day in the life of a brother and sister forced to live on the streets and how a robbery attempt could end in a murder or a needed chance for a new start. The director of this will be here at school today to do auditions from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the band room. More info posted on the bulletin board outside the band room.
REMINDER - CHORAL ENSEMBLE REHEARSAL - Friday early morning and next Monday after school in preparation for the Remembrance Day Ceremony.
CARON’S DRIVER’S ED. - Beginning Nov. 9th at 3:30 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre.
REACH FOR THE TOP - Today - Spitfires vs. Wizards, Friday - No Game.
HALLOWEEN GRAD DANCE - Tonight, Thurs., Oct. 29th from 8:30-11:00 p.m. at a cost of $5.00 each or $4.00 with a non perishable food item. There will be games and prizes as well as prizes for costumes. There will also be refreshments. Get your friends together, dress up and come to the first grad activity of the year.
STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS - The sign up sheet for the Phil Boyte Workshop Oct. 29th is on the CSLC room door. You only have until Friday to get your name signed up.

- Anger Management Group - healthy emotion to begin a group in early November. If you would like to join, please see one of the counselors in Student Services.

- First Nation student presentation sponsored by UPEI Dec. 4th from 11:45 - 12:45 p.m.
- Shad Valley Experience of a life time summer learning institute nation wide in science. Scholarships are offered. Stop by Student Services for details.
