DAY 1
MEETINGS:
PROVINCIAL CONFERENCE - Brief meeting at the noon bell today in Room 407 for those students attending the conference next Friday.
PUMPKIN PATROL - Meeting today in the Lecture Theatre at noon. Attendance is mandatory if you wish to participate.
SPORTS:
CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS - Congratulations for an excellent showing at the Provincials and in particular the Senior Boys Team who brought home the Banner!
GENERAL:
HALLOWEEN CANDY GRAMS - Students from Mr. McNeill’s Leadership Class will be selling grams on Fri., Oct. 23rd -Tues., Oct. 27th for The Adopt a Family Fundraiser. The cost will be $1.00 each in front of the Lecture Theatre.
HALLOWEEN GRAD DANCE - Thurs., Oct. 29th from 8:30-11:00 p.m. at a cost of $5.00 each or $4.00 with a non perishable food item. There will be games and prizes as well as prizes for costumes. There will also be refreshments. Get your friends together, dress up and come to the first grad activity of the year.
ZOMBIE WALK FOR CHARITY - Sun., Oct. 25th starting at the Summerside Boardwalk at 1:00 p.m. Student s are encouraged to bring in old clothes, books and canned food and dress up and act the part of either a zombie or an unlucky survivor.
REACH FOR THE TOP - Today - Royals vs. Cavaliers.
STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS - The sign up sheet for the Phil Boyte Workshop Oct. 29th is on the CSLC room door. You only have until Friday to get your name signed up.
STUDENT SERVICES:
- Check the new up-to-date Bursary Board.
- Mount "A" Open House today, Friday, Oct. 23rd. You must register a head of time if planning to attend.
- Anger Management Group - healthy emotion to begin a group in early November. If you would like to join, please see one of the counselors in Student Services.
- Lorne Award Recipients are asked to pick up your application in Student Services.
- On Oct. 28th, a representative of the Boys and Girls Club will be here in the Lecture Theatre at noon for a presentation.
- During Career Day Oct. 26th, there will be a great deal to offer and learn. You will receive your booklets in home room after attendance is taken. Special guest speaker Richard Leveille, Space Agency Planetary Scientist to present in the Lecture Theatre from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
