MEETINGS:
REACH FOR THE TOP CLUB - Those students interested in trivia and who would like to join the club are asked to see Mr. Gallant in Room 417 today or Friday. Games will be starting next week.
THE FOLLOWING STUDENTS ARE ASKED TO SEE MR. CLOW AT LUNCH TODAY IN ROOM 202 - Connor O’ Neil, Ellen Stewart, Samuel Mundy, Shelby Worth, Chris DesRoches and Brittany Grant.
FARMERS HELPING FARMERS OR PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE - Meeting today at 12:00 noon in Room 407. Everyone is welcome!!
VICTORY IN EUROPE HOLLAND TOUR - Very important meeting for those students interested, in Room 311 at the noon bell today. Take your lunch.
SPORTS:
WOMEN’S AND MEN’S "AAA" VOLLEYBALL TEAMS - Are to leave class 5 mins. early today at the end of the day.
GOLF - Very short meeting today in the Industrial Arts area at the lunch bell. All are expected to attend.
RUNNING CLUB - Open to staff and students - fitness walk/run club will be starting. This club is a come when you can on Tuesdays or Thursdays try to leave at 3:45 p.m. Use it to get in general fitness or help stay in shape for winter sports. Students interested in cross country can let Mr. MacKinnon or Mrs. Sullivan know.
SUMMERSIDE YOUTH BOWLING - Registration on Sept. 19th and 26th from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Credit Union Place. For more info., call Allan McNeill at 436-4578 or drop by bowling lanes any time.
ATHLETIC WINDSUITS - Anyone wishing to buy one can pick up a form in the phys. ed. office. Money must be in before Fri., Sept. 18th.
GENERAL:
STUDENT COUNCIL ACTIVITIES - Today will be dodgeball in the gym for anyone who would like to play. First school dance of the year is tonight 8:00-11:00 p.m. No sign ins. Doors close at 9:30 p.m. for late sign ins. The cost is $5.00 and the theme will be "Celebrity" so dress like anyone famous!!
MAGAZINE CAMPAIGN - Looking for students to get involved with organizing and running this campaign this year. The first planing meeting will be today at 12:00 noon in Room 614. Great opportunity to get involved in your school.
SENIOR BAND STUDENTS - Are asked to pick up their instruments from Mr. Ramsay before the end of the week. Early morning rehearsals begin next Tuesday.
ARTWORK - Those students who took art in the Spring that has artwork to pick up, should do so by the end of the week in Room 617.

CARON’S DRIVER’S ED. - Began, Mon., Sept. 14th 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre. Application forms can be picked up in the main office.
SAFE DRIVERS PEI - Began, Mon., Sept. 14th. Registration ca be done online at safedriverspei.com or by phone/text @ 439-0966.
SUMMERSIDE AND AREA GIRL GUIDES - Registration Night tonight, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the St. Eleanor’s Community Centre, West Drive, Summerside. Cost is $110.00. For more info. contact Peggy at 888-2367 or 436-5743.
GRAD PHOTOS - HECKBERT STUDIO - Will begin on Wed., Sept. 23- Fri., Oct. 2nd. Sign up sheets are posted on the main bulletin board in the corridor. Sitting fee of $20.00 is required.
FAMILY PLACE FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE - Will host lunch and learn sessions for the pregnant and parenting students in the school each Thursday beginning today in the conference room at lunch break.
STUDENT SERVICES:
- Bursary Board will be up and running late this week, so don’t forget to check it out if you are a potential graduate.
- If you are a Grade 11 or 12 student and are interested in being a Page, please contact Student Services for more details.
- St. Thomas presentation at lunch time in the Lecture Theatre on Sept. 21st, McGill presentation at 9:00 a.m. in the Lecture Theatre on Sept. 24th. Sign up sheet in Student Services. This presentation will be for general information n the process to enter any University. Please note the presentation on the 24th will include McGill, Concordia and Bishops Universities. This is always a very good presentation.
