MEETINGS:
FREE THE CHILDREN - NO meeting today.
RELAY FOR LIFE - THREE OAKS THUNDER- Very important meeting for all members in Room 612 at 12:10 today.
SADD - There will be a very important meeting on Thursday at the bell in Room 311. If you cannot attend, please see Mrs. Power.
PROM COMMITTEE - Meeting on stage Mon., May 18th at 12:30 p.m. It is very important for all members to attend. Please see Ms. Biggar to tell her whether or not you an be there.
STRIVE - Meeting today, May 13th at 12:00 noon in the Board Room.
SPORTS:
BEEP TEST - Today at noon for anyone interested.
WOMEN’S AND MEN’S "AAA" RUGBY TEAM - Will be dismissed at 3:10 today. Please board the bus right away for a 3:20 p.m. sharp departure.
GIRL POWER - None today.
TOSH MEN’S SOFTBALL TEAM - Will not practice today.
GENERAL:
TOSH CHOPPERS RELAY FOR LIFE TEAM - Will be selling freezies at lunch in front of the Lecture Theatre today and tomorrow .
PROM TICKETS - Final sale today in the Lecture Theatre. Anyone who has not purchased a ticket can do so today. After today, there will be NO tickets sold. Cost is $15.00 per ticket. All student fees must be paid before students will be allowed to purchase tickets. Any questions, see Ms. Biggar in the library today.
- Prom Committee will be accepting non-perishable food item donations during ticket sales. Those students who bring in an item will have their name entered into a draw and have a chance to win 2 free prom tickets. The draw will take place on Thursday and two winners will be chosen. The 2 winners will then be reimbursed for the cost of their own ticket and their dates ticket.
REACH FOR THE TOP - Today - No Game, Thursday - Vipers vs. Spitfires and Friday - Cavaliers vs. Wizards.
STUDENT SERVICES:
- Reminder Encounters with Canada due May 14th.
- All graduates - Destination of Choice - sign up sheet is now available in Student Services. If you are planning on attending post secondary upon graduation, you must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent.
- Please show proof of your scholarship offer to a Student Services Representative - Nothing can be stated at graduation regarding your scholarship if verification is not presented.
- New bursary list is now posted in Student Services.
- Student information night May 13th at 6:30 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre.
- Applications for summer jobs at Sand Spit, Shining Waters and Burlington Amusement Park are available in Student Services. Start dates June 15-Sept. 7.
- Lots of new bursaries to view so come and check the 10 page list. Don’t be late!!
