DAY 1
MEETINGS:
VICTORY IN EUROPE HOLLAND TOUR - All students who are selling tickets for fundraising, should see Mrs. McQuaid in Room 106 today to get their tickets.
SPORTS:
MINOR SOCCER COACHES - List is posted in the gym. Please check and if your name is posted, there will be a brief meeting for you at 11:30 a.m. today in the Lecture Theatre.
MEN’S SOFTBALL TEAM - Tryouts will begin on today, Mon., May 4th at 3:30 p.m. sharp at Greenfield Elementary School.
GENERAL:
MS. DECOSTE’S TEST - Students who did not write this test on Thursday, are reminded that you will be writing at lunch today.
BAND STUDENTS - REMINDER - - There will be no rehearsals this week. Watch for an announcement on the band room door by the end of the week concerning rehearsals for next week.
- Best of luck to all TOSH students who are performing at the East Prince Music Festival this week.
EASTER SEALS - STUDENT COUNCIL - BAKE SALE - In front of the Lecture Theatre tomorrow to support Easter Seals. The home room that buys the most, will get a party pizza from Greco Thursday at lunch.
HOLLAND TOUR GROUP - MOTHER’S DAY BASKET - Tickets on sale this week in front of the Lecture Theatre. Buy tickets for your mom or treat yourself to a lovely basket of treats and certificates.
STUDENT COUNCIL APPLICATIONS - For executive positions, can be found in the office. Please see Ms. Haire or Ms. Decoste if you have any questions.
PROM COMMITTEE MEMBERS - Must start staying after school to begin organizing and painting murals. Members are to see Ms. Biggar in the library to let her know when they are going to stay after school. Any set ups which have not been started by next week, will be cancelled.
JVI DRIVER’S ED. - Begins, May 4th, 2009 at JVI in Slemon Park and at Westisle High. Forms are in main office.
STUDENT SERVICES:
- All graduates - Destination of Choice - sign up sheet is now available in Student Services. If you are planning on attending post secondary upon graduation, you must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent.
- Please show proof of your scholarship offer to a Student Services Representative - Nothing can be stated at graduation regarding your scholarship if verification is not presented.
- New bursary list is now posted in Student Services.
- Student Loan Information Night and day presentations at lunch time May 5th at 12:00 noon in the Lecture Theatre. Student information night May 13th at 6:30 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre.
- Applications for summer jobs at Sand Spit, Shining Waters and Burlington Amusement Park are available in Student Services. Start dates June 15-Sept. 7.
- Lots of new bursaries to view so come and check the 10 page list. Don’t be late!!
