FOLLOWING STUDENTS ARE TO SEE MS. HAIRE AT THE A.M. RECESS IN THE CSLC ROOM - Hannah, Karyn and Patricia Brown and Heather Baglole.
RELAY FOR LIFE - THREE OAKS THUNDER TEAM - Meeting in the computer lab beside the library at 12:10 p.m. today. Enter through the library.
IMPROV - Thursday in Room 406. Bring your lunch and remember t-shirts for that night.
STRIVE - Meeting today, Wed., Apr. 29th at 12:00 noon in the board room.
SADD - Very important meeting Thursday beginning at 12:00 noon in Room 311. All members are asked to attend.
SPORTS:
BEEP TEST - Today at noon in the gym. Students and staff welcome. There are still 7 spots available.
MINOR SOCCER COACHES - Sign up sheet is in the gym.
GIRL POWER - Today at 5:15 p.m.
MEN’S SOFTBALL TEAM - Practice tomorrow at the Greenfield Elementary School Field beginning at 3:30 p.m. sharp. All players trying out are to be prepared for all weather conditions.
GENERAL:
BAND STUDENTS - REMINDER - Traveling to Halifax tomorrow that your completed paperwork must be handed in today before you leave.
JAZZ TRUMPET SECTIONAL - Today at 12:10 p.m.
PROM COMMITTEE MEMBERS - Must start staying after school to begin organizing and painting murals. Members are to see Ms. Biggar in the library to let her know when they are going to stay after school. Any set ups which have not been started by next week, will be cancelled.
RELAY FOR LIFE - Bake sale will go today.
PEER HELPERS - Block meetings will go today in the CSLC room. Reflection #5 is due Thursday this week.
REACH FOR THE TOP - Today - Spitfires vs. Crusaders, Thursday - Barons vs. Canucks and Friday - No School.
JVI DRIVER’S ED. - Begins, May 5th, 2009. Forms are in main office.
THE ELM STREET PLAYERS - Would like to invite former members, colleagues, friends and family members to their performance on stage at the Jubilee Theatre this evening, Apr. 29th, and Thursday evening, Apr. 30th, 2009 for the production of "The Secret Garden". Tickets on sale at the theatre box office for $7.50 each.
STUDENT SERVICES:
- All graduates - Destination of Choice - sign up sheet is now available in Student Services. If you are planning on attending post secondary upon graduation, you must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent.
- Please show proof of your scholarship offer to a Student Services Representative - Nothing can be stated at graduation regarding your scholarship if verification is not presented.
- New bursary list is now posted in Student Services.
- Evangeline Credit Union will sponsor 2 youths who have an account with them to attend the Atlantic Co-operative Youth Leadership Seminar. More details

- Student Loan Information Night and day presentations at lunch time May 5th at 12:00 noon in the Lecture Theatre. Student information night May 6th at 6:30 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre.
- Applications for summer jobs at Sand Spit, Shining Waters and Burlington Amusement Park are available in Student Services. Start dates June 15-Sept. 7.
- Lots of new bursaries to view so come and check the 10 page list. Don’t be late!!
