MEETINGS:
TREASURERS - Meet in Room 407 at noon today.
VICTORY IN EUROPE HOLLAND TOUR - All students who are selling tickets for fundraising, should see Mrs. McQuaid in Room 106 today to get their tickets.
IMPROV - Today, in Room 406. Bring your lunch and remember t-shirts for that night.
SADD - Very important meeting today beginning at 12:00 noon in Room 311. All members are asked to attend.
SPORTS:
MINOR SOCCER COACHES - Sign up sheet is in the gym.
MEN’S SOFTBALL TEAM - Practice cancelled today. Tryouts will begin on Mon., May 4th rain or shine. Listen to the announcements for location on Monday.
GENERAL:
STUDENT COUNCIL APPLICATIONS - For executive positions, can be found in the office. Please see Ms. Haire or Ms. Decoste if you have any questions.
DANCE TONIGHT - THEME IS "DANCE OF THE DECADES" - Dress as your favorite decade. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and close at 9:30 p.m.
PROM COMMITTEE MEMBERS - Must start staying after school to begin organizing and painting murals. Members are to see Ms. Biggar in the library to let her know when they are going to stay after school. Any set ups which have not been started by next week, will be cancelled.
PEER HELPERS - Reflection #5 is due today.
REACH FOR THE TOP - Today - Canucks vs. Paladins and Friday - No School.
JVI DRIVER’S ED. - Begins, May 5th, 2009. Forms are in main office.
STUDENT SERVICES:
- All graduates - Destination of Choice - sign up sheet is now available in Student Services. If you are planning on attending post secondary upon graduation, you must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent.
- Please show proof of your scholarship offer to a Student Services Representative - Nothing can be stated at graduation regarding your scholarship if verification is not presented.
- New bursary list is now posted in Student Services.
- Student Loan Information Night and day presentations at lunch time May 5th at 12:00 noon in the Lecture Theatre. Student information night May 13th at 6:30 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre.
- Applications for summer jobs at Sand Spit, Shining Waters and Burlington Amusement Park are available in Student Services. Start dates June 15-Sept. 7.
- Lots of new bursaries to view so come and check the 10 page list. Don’t be late!!
