MEETINGS:
TYLER JEFFERY GRADE 11 - To see Mr. Gallant in Room 417 at recess.
STUDENT COUNCIL - Meeting Tuesday at noon in the Lecture Theatre.
PROM COMMITTEE - Meeting today in Room 108 at the beginning of lunch.
FREE THE CHILDREN - Meeting today in preparation for the food drive.
STUDENT COUNCIL AND CSLC 2009 DELEGATES - Meeting on Tuesday at noon in the Lecture Theatre. Important that all members be there!! Please reserve Sat. Apr. 11th for grocery bagging at the superstore.
STUDENT COUNCIL EXECUTIVE PICTURE - Meet in the CSLC room on Monday at noon.
SPORTS:
GIRLS RUGBY - Meeting in Room 608 at 12:25 p.m. All potential players must attend.
GENERAL:
REMINDER TO ALL BAND STUDENTS - That you are back to the regular rehearsal schedule. It is posted on the band room door if you need to check.
- Brass Sectional - Wednesday at lunch.
PEER HELPERS - Block meetings will be a little different this week: Blocks A and B will be on Tuesday, and Blocks C and D will be on Wednesday. Scenario #4 for all is due on Thursday. No lates please, due to the Easter Holiday.
REACH FOR THE TOP - Today - Canucks vs. Spitfires, Tuesday - Paladins vs. Crusaders, Wednesday - No Game (calculus extra help at noon), Thursday - Mid Terms, Friday - Good Friday - No School.
MRS. GILLIS’ CLASS ROOM 421 - would like to take this opportunity to thank all students and staff of TOSH for your dedication to our recycling program by putting the cans and bottles in the blue recycle containers. We have collected over 16,500 cans and bottles so far this year. This is a huge amount of product which will not end up in the landfill sites on PEI. The over $800.00 collected so far, will help Farmers Helping Farmers and the Quiet Room for Mrs. Gillis ’ students. Once again, keep up the good work and help the environment of PEI for future generations.
BOOKSTORE - Open Wednesday. Come see our new stock and pick up some TOSH gear.
CARON’S DRIVER’S ED. - Begins April 7th. Registration forms in the main office.
STUDENT SERVICES:
- Check out the new updated bursary board. New bursary booklets now available.
- Destination of Choice - sign up sheet is now available in Student Services. If you are planning on attending post secondary upon graduation, you must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent.
- Check the posting for East Prince Youth Development Centre Workshops for the month of April. Health careers, job searching etc. Stop by Student Services.
- Young Writers Award Island Literacy. Show your creative talent and possibly win a cash prize. Speak to your English teacher for more details.
- Potential scholarship students - you need to send your information asap to your school of choice to be considered for a potential scholarship.
- UPEI bound students meet advisors to answer questions. After general session, representatives are willing to meet with students and or parents to answer University questions, credit selection, etc. General session at 2:00 p.m. on April 8th in the Lecture Theatre. Please indicate if you would like to meet representatives individually. Sign up in Student Services.
- Check the new updated bursary list in Student Services.
- Youth Leadership Conference April 30-May 3 all expenses paid - Canoe Cove. Main sponsors - the co-operative stores and the credit union. Apply on line asap for students 14-18 years of age.
