MEETINGS:
STUDENT COUNCIL - Meeting for all members and CSLC 2009 delegates on Thursday at noon in the Lecture Theatre. It is important that all attend. New members always welcome.

BADMINTON TRYOUTS - Today and Thurs. til 3:30-5:00 p.m.
WOMEN’S RUGBY - Friday after school 3:30-5:30 p.m.
MEN’S RUGBY - Today and Friday after school at 3:30 p.m.
GIRL POWER - Today at 4:30 p.m. for teachers.
BASKETBALL PLAYERS - Reminded to return uniforms to Mrs. Thomson asap.
CANADA GAMES VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - See Ms. Haire in the CSLC Room for more information or simply log on to the Canada Games 2009 website. Beach volleyball is happening the first week of Canada Games - Aug. 16-22 at the Credit Union Place. Students 14 and older are welcome to volunteer and hours can be counted toward the Community Service Bursary.
GENERAL:
TODAY’S HEALTHY TIP - Is try skim or 1% milk instead of 2%. They have the same amount of nutrients, but 1% and skim milk are lower in fat.
BAND MEMBERS -Are reminded that turkey ticket order forms and money are due to Mr. MacDonald by 12:00 noon today.
PEER HELPERS - Scenario #3 is due this Friday and is available in the folders in the main office. See Ms. Haire if you did not get a pocketbook. NO block meetings this week.
MASCOT NEEDED - The City is looking for someone interested in being the Cap’s Mascot for the rest of the season This is a really fun job - lots of interaction with the kids! Pays $25.00 per game. The next game is Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. then the following Monday, March 30th at 7:30 p.m. Anyone interested can contact Katy Baker at kbaker@city.summersidepe.ca or call 432-1284.

BAND MEMBERS - Reminder of no early morning or after school rehearsals this week.
- Band students wishing to sign up for entertaining at the turkey dinner, are asked to do so on the bulletin board outside the band room.
- Are reminded that turkey ticket orders and money are to be turned into Mr. MacDonald asap.
REMINDER - GRAD POTLUCK - Thurs., Mar. 26th 6:30-9:30 p.m. There will now be bingo and dodgeball instead of the variety show. Sign up sheets are in the office.
STUDENT SERVICES:
- Check out the new updated bursary board. New bursary booklets now available.
- Destination of Choice - sign up sheet is now available in Student Services. If you are planning on attending post secondary upon graduation, you must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent.
- East Prince Youth Development Centre - Summerside Job Fair to be held at the Credit Union Place on Thurs., Apr. 2nd 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Potential scholarship students - you need to send your information asap to your school of choice to be considered for a potential scholarship.
- To all scholarship bound students considering St. Thomas University, there is information located in Student Services. Please feel to pick one up.
- March 26th - UPEI bound students meet advisors to answer questions. After general session, representatives are willing to meet with students and or parents to answer University questions, credit selection, etc. General session at 2:00 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre. Please indicate if you would like to meet representatives individually. Sign up in Student Services.
- Do you need a correspondence to graduate. Time is just about up to get the request in.
- Interested in a career in the RCMP? Personal session with the recruiter at 1:00 p.m. today, March 24th. Mandatory sign up sheet in Student Services.
- UPEI coarse selection, scholarship 1st year and advisement today, March 24th at 2:00 p.m Mandatory sign up in Student Services. Want help with coarse selection get the one on one session offered. Taking place in the Lecture Theatre and Student Services offices.
