STUDENT COUNCIL - Meeting for all members and CSLC 2009 delegates today at noon in the Lecture Theatre. It is important that all attend. New members always welcome.

TO ALL FORMER MISCOUCHE STUDENTS - Miscouche is selling old volleyball and basketball jerseys for only $5.00 each. A great keepsake!! If interested, e-mail Mrs. Martin or drop by the school. First come first serve!
CANADA GAMES VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - See Ms. Haire in the CSLC Room for more information or simply log on to the Canada Games 2009 website. Beach volleyball is happening the first week of Canada Games - Aug. 16-22 at the Credit Union Place. Students 14 and older are welcome to volunteer and hours can be counted toward the Community Service Bursary.
REMINDER TO MINOR BASKETBALL COACHES - First coaching assignment tonight. Be at Parkside or TOSH at 6:15 p.m.

TODAY’S HEALTHY TIP - Choose vegetable oils and non-hydrogenated margarines that are low in saturated and trans fats instead of butter.
ALL BAND MEMBERS - Are asked to see Mr. MacDonald in the Industrial Arts area to pick up turkey carbaret tickets by 12:00 noon today.
BAKE SALE - Outside of the Lecture Theatre today in support of Relay for Life!
REACH FOR THE TOP - Today - Paladins vs. Cavaliers, Friday - Crusaders vs. Wizards.
LIBRARY - Will not be open after school today due to grade level meetings.
PEER HELPERS - Scenario #3 is due this Friday and is available in the folders in the main office. See Ms. Haire if you did not get a pocketbook. NO block meetings this week.
MASCOT NEEDED - The City is looking for someone interested in being the Cap’s Mascot for the rest of the season This is a really fun job - lots of interaction with the kids! Pays $25.00 per game. The next game is Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. then the following Monday, March 30th at 7:30 p.m. Anyone interested can contact Katy Baker at

STUDENT SERVICES:
- Health science bound students information session 12:00-12:30 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre presented by Memorial University Medical Student.
- Check out the new updated bursary board. New bursary booklets now available.
- Destination of Choice - sign up sheet is now available in Student Services. If you are planning on attending post secondary upon graduation, you must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent.
- East Prince Youth Development Centre - Summerside Job Fair to be held at the Credit Union Place on Thurs., Apr. 2nd 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Potential scholarship students - you need to send your information asap to your school of choice to be considered for a potential scholarship.
- To all scholarship bound students considering St. Thomas University, there is information located in Student Services. Please feel to pick one up.
- UPEI bound students meet advisors to answer questions. After general session, representatives are willing to meet with students and or parents to answer University questions, credit selection, etc. General session at 2:00 p.m. on April 8th in the Lecture Theatre. Please indicate if you would like to meet representatives individually. Sign up in Student Services.
- Do you need a correspondence to graduate. Time is just about up to get the request in.
