MEETINGS:
PROM COMMITTEE - Meeting today at noon in Room 108.
YEARBOOK - Today after school for all who can come.
SPORTS:
BADMINTON TRYOUTS - Tues., Wed., and Thurs. til 5:00 p.m.
WOMEN’S RUGBY - Today after school.
MEN’S RUGBY - Today, Wednesday and Friday after school at 3:30 p.m.
GIRL POWER - tomorrow at 4:45 p.m. Thursday after school.
MINOR BASKETBALL COACHES - There will be an important meeting today at 12:40 p.m. in the gym classroom for all coaches. Please check the list outside the phys. ed. office.
BASKETBALL PLAYERS - Reminded to return uniforms to Mrs. Thomson asap.
CANADA GAMES VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - See Ms. Haire in the CSLC Room for more information or simply log on to the Canada Games 2009 website. Beach volleyball is happening the first week of Canada Games - Aug. 16-22 at the Credit Union Place. Students 14 and older are welcome to volunteer and hours can be counted toward the Community Service Bursary.
GENERAL:
REACH FOR THE TOP - Today - Cougars vs. Barons, Tuesday - Paladins vs. Cavaliers, Wednesday - No Game, Thursday - Crusaders vs. Wizards, and Friday - Viper vs. Cougars.
BAND MEMBERS - Reminder of no early morning or after school rehearsals this week.
- Band students wishing to sign up for entertaining at the turkey dinner, are asked to do so on the bulletin board outside the band room.
- Are reminded that turkey ticket orders and money are to be turned into Mr. MacDonald today by noon.
REMINDER - GRAD POTLUCK - Thurs., Mar. 26th 6:30-9:30 p.m. There will now be bingo and dodgeball instead of the variety show. Sign up sheets are in the office.
TODAY’S TIP IS - If there is a lighter choice menu, try something from it.
STUDENT SERVICES:
- Check out the new updated bursary board. New bursary booklets now available.
- Destination of Choice - sign up sheet is now available in Student Services. If you are planning on attending post secondary upon graduation, you must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent.
- East Prince Youth Development Centre - Summerside Job Fair to be held at the Credit Union Place on Thurs., Apr. 2nd 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Potential scholarship students - you need to send your information asap to your school of choice to be considered for a potential scholarship.
- To all scholarship bound students considering St. Thomas University, there is information located in Student Services. Please feel to pick one up.
- March 26th - UPEI bound students meet advisors to answer questions. After general session, representatives are willing to meet with students and or parents to answer University questions, credit selection, etc. General session at 2:00 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre. Please indicate if you would like to meet representatives individually. Sign up in Student Services.
- Do you need a correspondence to graduate. Time is just about up to get the request in.
- Interested in a career in the RCMP? Personal session with the recruiter at 1:00 p.m. on March 24th. Mandatory sign up sheet in Student Services.
- UPEI coarse selection, scholarship 1st year and advisement on March 24th at 2:00 p.m Mandatory sign up in Student Services. Want help with coarse selection get the one on one session offered. Taking place in the Lecture Theatre and Student Services offices.
