DAY 2
MEETINGS:
IMPROV - Will run after school today until 5:00 p.m. and a reminder that the final team list has been posted outside the office.
SADD - There will be a very important meeting Thurs. at the beginning of lunch in Room 311. All member s are asked to attend with their lunch.
STUDENT COUNCIL - Meeting at noon today in front of the Lecture Theatre.
TEXAS HOLD’EM LEAGUE - Meeting today, Feb. 10th for all students interested in competing. The meeting will take place at 12:00 noon in Room 611. League games are starting next week, so get started building points right away.
SPORTS:
POWER LIFTING TEAM - There will be a group photo taken for the yearbook on Wed. at 12:00 noon in Room 410. All members are asked to attend with their t-shirts.
WOMEN’S AND MEN’S "AAA" BASKETBALL TEAMS - Host Rural tonight at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
WOMEN "AA" BASKETBALL TEAM - Will be leaving at 5:45 p.m. for a 7:30 p.m. game at Westisle.
MEN "AA" BASKETBALL TEAM - Will be leaving at 3:30 p.m. for a 5:30 p.m. game at Westisle.
GENERAL:
GRADE 10 BAND - REMINDER - Tomorrow a.m.
JAZZ REHEARSAL - Reminder after school today.
MR. MACDONALD’S MATH 531 FINAL EXAM - Will be passed back today by Mr. Halupa in the Industrial Arts Classroom (Room 114).
REACH FOR THE TOP - Today - Canucks vs. Crusaders. Players please check the schedule outside Room 417.
FAMILY VIOLENCE WEEK - East Prince Family Violence Prevention Fe. 8th - 14th - is encouraging everyone to practice random acts of kindness. You can make a difference in someone’s day with your kindness. Giving is easy - it brings great contentment to a person’s life. "If we all do our part we will live in a nicer community and world."
1ST SEMESTER TRANSITION STUDENTS - Can pick up your portfolios in the main office.
VALENTINE CANDY GRAMS - Will go on sale today in front of the Lecture Theatre at lunch at a cost of $1.00 each. All proceeds go to Free the Children.
BANDIE GRAMS - On sale today, Thursday, and Friday in front of the Lecture Theatre at a cost of $1.00 each.
BABY PICTURES - Can be picked up in Room 410.
SCHOOL DANCE - Will take place Thurs., Feb. 26th. The hypnotist is from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and then the dance will follow.
4TH ANNUAL PROM DRESS FASHION SHOW AND SALE - At the Wellington Legion at Sat. Feb. 14th at 2:00 p.m. Admission $3.00. Storm date Feb. 28th, 2009.

- Destination of Choice - sign up sheet is now available in Student Services. If you are planning on attending post secondary upon graduation, you must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent.

- Tourism Employment Showcase - Thurs., Feb. 19th at the Tourism and Culinary Centre 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Over 400 different employment opportunities.
- East Prince Youth Development Centre - Summerside Job Fair to be held at the Credit Union Place on Thurs., Apr. 2nd 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- To all graduates, potential planning on pursuing post secondary - want to earn a $1,000.00 Bursary? Watch for the announcement and is sponsored by Summerside Rotary Club. This is open to all who are trying to improve their marks and attendance in school.
