MEETINGS:
FREE THE CHILDREN - Very important meeting today at lunch in Room 309.
BIOTECH CHALLENGE - Important meeting at 12:00 noon on Fri., Feb. 6th in Room 611. All participants please attend. This is to update members on their mentor status and to go over information on an upcoming training session for the competition.
TEXAS HOLD’EM LEAGUE - Meeting on Mon., Feb. 9th for all students interested in competing. The meeting will take place at 12:00 noon in Room 611. League games are starting next week, so get started building points right away.

GIRL POWER - Today after school at 3:45 p.m.
GENERAL:
REACH FOR THE TOP - All players are asked to see Mr. Gallant at noon today or Friday. If you are new and want to join, please go to Room 417 as well. New season begins next week.
CHESS - Any students who wish to have information on the Canadian Chess challenge on March 1st in Ch’Town, see Mr. Gallant in Room 417 as soon as possible.
BAKE SALE AT NOON - In front of the Lecture Theatre. Come out to support Improv.
VOCAL ENSEMBLE - NO rehearsal today after school. ALL music rehearsals will return to their regular schedule next week starting with Senior Concert Band and Jazz Band on Tuesday.
PEER HELPERS - Are reminded to hand in their pocket books and binders asap.
SCHOOL DANCE - Will take place Thurs., Feb. 26th. The hypnotist is from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and then the dance will follow.
TOUR GUIDES - Today is the last day for any students who would like to apply to become tour guides for the grade nine visits from the intermediate schools.
ALL LIBRARY BOOKS - All books must be returned asap.

- 37th National Commonwealth Forum for Grade 11 or 12 Students - Ottawa - May 3-8. Registration due Feb. 15th. See your social studies teacher or Mr. Donovan in Student Services for more details.
- Destination of Choice - sign up sheet is now available in Student Services. If you are planning on attending post secondary upon graduation, you must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent.
- Explore Program 2009 French Language Bursary Program $2,000.00 Bursary. Due date Feb. 28th. Stop by Student Services.
- Tourism Employment Showcase - Thurs., Feb. 19th at the Tourism and Culinary Centre 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Over 400 different employment opportunities.
- East Prince Youth Development Centre - Summerside Job Fair to be held at the Credit Union Place on Thurs., Apr. 2nd 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- To all graduates, potential planning on pursuing post secondary - want to earn a $1,000.00 Bursary? Watch for the announcement and is sponsored by Summerside Rotary Club. This is open to all who are trying to improve their marks and attendance in school.

- Parks Canada Recruitment - Summer Workers - Will be here, Fri., Feb. 6th to provide information on summer jobs available at the PEI National Park and National Historic Sites. They will be here during lunch break so don ’t miss this opportunity. You can also go to
