MEETINGS:
FARMERS HELPING FARMERS - Meeting in Room 407 at 12:00 noon today. Everyone welcome.
- Thanks to all students who contributed to the charity jars in January - raising enough money to provide the school in Kenya with clean water. Way to go TOSH!!!
SPORTS:
WOMEN’S "AAA" BASKETBALL TEAM - Were defeated last night by Colonel Gray 67-61. Top scorers were Cierra Gaudet, Kristine Johnston and Ashley Howell.
GENERAL:
STUDENT COUNCIL LIP SYNC CONTEST - Next Thursday and Friday at lunch, Student Council will be holding a lip singing contest. The winner will go to Wendy and K-Rock’s 22nd Annual Lip Sync Competition at the Charlottetown Civic Centre on Mar. 6th at 7:00 p.m. Music must be in by Mon., Feb. 23rd to the CSLC room in the library. There is a maximum of 6 people per group.
ANY STUDENT COUNCIL GROUP - That has not handed in their activity sheet to Ms. Decoste should do so by the end of the day today.
IFLURTZ - Will be sold outside the Lecture Theatre Mon. - Wed. of next week for $3.00 each.
LIBRARY - Will NOT be open after school on Wednesday, Feb. 18th and Thursday, Feb. 19th due to the fact it is booked for meetings.
MR. VOYE’S ENGLISH CLASSES - Will be in Room 606.
ENGLISH 611 STUDENTS - There are several students who need to return Echoes 12. Please do so today to Mrs. England.
REACH FOR THE TOP - Today - Vipers vs. Canucks and Friday - Spitfires vs. Paladins.
BABY PICTURES - Can be picked up in Room 410.
SCHOOL DANCE - Will take place Thurs., Feb. 26th. The hypnotist is from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and then the dance will follow.

- Destination of Choice - sign up sheet is now available in Student Services. If you are planning on attending post secondary upon graduation, you must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent.
- Explore Program 2009 French Language Bursary Program $2,000.00 Bursary. Due date Feb. 28th. Stop by Student Services.
- Tourism Employment Showcase - Today, Thurs., Feb. 19th at the Tourism and Culinary Centre 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Over 400 different employment opportunities.
- East Prince Youth Development Centre - Summerside Job Fair to be held at the Credit Union Place on Thurs., Apr. 2nd 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- March 2nd NSAC will hold it’s 10th Annual University Days. For more details contact Student Services or NSAC.
- Sign up for RCMP session in Student Services March 3rd.
- Check out the new entrance scholarship booklet for UPEI on display in Student Services.
- Potential scholarship students - you need to send your information asap to your school of choice to be considered for a potential scholarship.
- To all scholarship bound students considering St. Thomas University, there is information located in Student Services. Please feel to pick one up.

- Important Notice to All Strive Participants - first meeting Feb. 25th at 12:00 noon. You must attend all lunch meetings to be eligible for the bursary at the end of the year.
