MEETINGS:
STUDENT COUNCIL - Meeting at noon in the Lecture Theatre.
STUDENT COUNCIL TREASURERS - Meeting Wednesday at noon in Room 407.
FARMERS HELPING FARMERS - Meeting in Room 407 at 12:00 noon on Thursday. Everyone welcome.
- Thanks to all students who contributed to the charity jars in January - raising enough money to provide the school in Kenya with clean water. Way to go TOSH!!!
ENVIROTHON TEAM - Meeting today, Tues. Feb. 17th in room 610 at noon hour.
SPORTS:
WOMEN’S RUGBY - Dryland training for all girls interested in playing rugby this year beginning today. Meet in the gym at 3:30 p.m.
MEN’S RUGBY - Conditioning after school today at 3:30 p.m.
GIRL POWER - Today at 3:45 p.m. in 400 foyer.
WOMEN’S "AAA" BASKETBALL TEAM - Beat Charlottetown Rural last night 71-54. Top scorers for TOSH were Cierra Gaudet (25), Ashley Howell (16), and Catherine Strongman (11).
GENERAL:
LIBRARY - Will NOT be open after school on Wednesday, Feb. 18th and Thursday, Feb. 19th due to the fact it is booked for meetings.
MR. VOYE’S ENGLISH CLASSES - Will be in Room 606.
ENGLISH 611 STUDENTS - There are several students who need to return Echoes 12. Please do so today to Mrs. England.
REACH FOR THE TOP - Today - Cavaliers vs. Crusaders, Wednesday - No Game, Thursday - Vipers vs. Canucks and Friday - Spitfires vs. Paladins.
JOIN THE COSTA RICA TRAVEL CLUB - Are you interested in travel, tropical forests, wildlife and adventure in the great outdoors? We are planning an exciting, 9-day excursion through the rivers and jungles of Costa Rica. Get up close with the wildlife; try white water rafting along jungle rivers; take part in conservation activities; and experience a new culture as you explore Central America. Sound good? Meeting in room 611 at 12:00 noon Wed., Feb. 18th or see Mr. Higginbotham to learn more.
BIOTECH CHALLENGE PARTICIPANTS - Be sure to see Mr. Higginbotham at some point asap.
1ST SEMESTER TRANSITION STUDENTS - Can pick up your portfolios in the main office.
GRAD TUBING - Rescheduled for Wed., Feb. 18th. The buss will be leaving at 3:00 p.m. Permission forms can be picked up today in the office and the first 40 students to have their money and permission forms returned to Ms. Hickey, will be able to go. The cost is $4.00 each.
BABY PICTURES - Can be picked up in Room 410.
SCHOOL DANCE - Will take place Thurs., Feb. 26th. The hypnotist is from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and then the dance will follow.
BANDIE CANDY GRAMS - Will be sold today in front of the Lecture Theatre at lunch and will be passed out Wednesday.

- Destination of Choice - sign up sheet is now available in Student Services. If you are planning on attending post secondary upon graduation, you must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent.
- Explore Program 2009 French Language Bursary Program $2,000.00 Bursary. Due date Feb. 28th. Stop by Student Services.
- Tourism Employment Showcase - Thurs., Feb. 19th at the Tourism and Culinary Centre 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Over 400 different employment opportunities.
- East Prince Youth Development Centre - Summerside Job Fair to be held at the Credit Union Place on Thurs., Apr. 2nd 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- To all graduates, potential planning on pursuing post secondary - want to earn a $1,000.00 Bursary? Watch for the announcement and is sponsored by Summerside Rotary Club. This is open to all who are trying to improve their marks and attendance in school.
- March 2nd NSAC will hold it’s 10th Annual University Days. For more details contact Student Services or NSAC.
- Essay competition to mark 50th anniversary of United Nations General Assembly adoption of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child. More details in Student Services.
- For all students considering the strive program, you must sign up with Mr. Donovan in Student Services asap.
- Pearson International - time is coming to a close for an experience of a lifetime. Strong academic and well rounded students required.
