MEETINGS:
YEARBOOK PHOTOGRAPHERS - Important meeting with Mrs. Evans at the noon bell today. The are: Olivia Melanson, Kelsey Arsenault, Tasha Johnson and Chantel Casey.
SPORTS:
WOMEN’S AND MEN’S "AA" BASKETBALL TEAMS - Games are cancelled.
- Practice right after school tonight for the men’s team.
TO SEE MR. LILLY AT THE A.M. RECESS - Ashley Howell, Catherine Strongman, Shaneigh Brennan, Julia Heckbert and Emma Croken.
POWER LIFTING TEAM - Pick up time is 7:30 a.m. on Fri., Jan. 16th at the St. Eleanor’s Irving for the meet in Souris.
DODGEBALL INTRAMURALS - Schedule for January is posted down at the gym. Two more teams are needed so sign up your team at the gym.
GENERAL:
LEADERSHIP CLASS - SALVATION ARMY CLOTHING DRIVE - Bring in any used clothing to your homerooms. There will be boxes set up in every class and we will be taking donation for the next week.
SENIOR BAND MEMBERS - REMINDER - Band students who haven’t received their pancake breakfast tickets can pick them up on the bulletin board outside the band room.
REACH FOR THE TOP - Today - Barons vs. Monarchs, Thursday - Wizards vs. Royals, Friday - No Game. Playoffs continue next week.
COURSE CHANGES - DEADLINE - Is Fri., Jan. 16th. There will be no course changes after this date.
POSITIVE CHOICES SESSION - Will be held today, Wed., Jan. 14th on Family Violence.
JVI DRIVER EDUCATION CLASSES - Began, Jan. 12th, 2009 at JVI, Slemon Park and Westisle Composite High School.
SAFE DRIVER’S PEI - Began, Jan. 12th, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. Registration is available online at
www.safedriverspei.comor forms can be picked up in the main office.
CARON’S DRIVER’S ED. - Anyone wishing to take Driver Education with Caron Driving School Ltd. can come Thursday to the Lecture Theatre at 3:30 p.m. Application forms are in the main office.
CATCH THE CSLC SPIRIT NIGHT - Plan to come out for a few hours of CSLC Spirit on Sun., Jan. 18th 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at TOSH. You don’t have to be a Spirit Leader or CSLC Volunteer to attend and it promises to be a great time. See you there.

- Destination of Choice - sign up sheet is now available in Student Services. If you are planning on attending post secondary upon graduation, you must indicate where you would like your transcripts sent.

- Rotary Club of Summerside - Rotary Adventure in Citizenship May 3-6 in Ottawa. All expenses paid. Application due Feb. 13th. Stop by Student Services.
- Tourism Employment Showcase - Thurs., Feb. 19th at the Tourism and Culinary Centre 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Over 400 different employment opportunities.
- East Prince Youth Development Centre - Summerside Job Fair to be held at the Credit Union Place on Thurs., Apr. 2nd 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Military - are you interested in Nursing, Law, Officer Training, Skilled Trades. Information session in the Lecture Theatre at 12:00 noon on Jan. 14th.
