DAY 1
MEETINGS:
PROM COMMITTEE - Very important but brief meeting today after school on the stage. Reminder the next meeting will be next Wednesday after school on stage.
ALL ORTONA STUDENTS - Doing Remembrance Day Presentations, are asked to go to Room 311 at the noon bell. All must attend.
KIDS HELP PHONE - Meeting will take place on Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre.
PEER HELPER BLOCK- Meetings will take place Wed., Nov. 5th.
SPORTS:
SOCCER AND FIELD HOCKEY TEAMS - Please pass in uniforms to Mrs. Thomson or your coach asap.
WOMEN’S "A" VOLLEYBALL - Host Evangeline in the quarter finals tonight at 5:30 p.m. Wear green and gold and come support your team.
WOMEN’S "AA" VOLLEYBALL - At Bluefield tonight at 5:30 p.m. for quarter finals.
- Team lunch today at noon in the music class room.
MEN’S "AA" VOLLEYBALL - Semi final at UPEI on Friday. Time TBA.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL - After school today 3:30-5:00 p.m.
GENERAL:
MAGAZINE CAMPAIGN RESULTS - Top home room is Ms. Allen’s (308) who won the movie package. Top sales people were: 1. Lucas Harris, 2. Jillian VanVliet, and 3. Mark Townsend. The winner for the draw for the TV/DVD player is Stuart MacLean. Other draw winners are: Emma Croken, Ryan Waugh, Hillary MacLeod, Olivia Melanson, Miranda Muttart and Skyler Richard. Please go to Room 614 for your prizes.
BABYSITTING AT THE CRAFT FAIR - Sign up sheets for this are posted by the gym office and outside Mr. MacNeill’s classroom in Room 310. Volunteers are needed for Sat., Nov. 8th and Sun. Nov. 9th. For more information please see Stephanie Bilodeau, Jenna Roddick or Rogan Power.
ORTONA REMEMBERS GROUP - Would like students to take some time and view the display case in the main hall. If you are interested in winning a prize, get the trivia questions that go with the Ortona display from the library and return the correct answers to the library.
REACH FOR THE TOP - Today - No Game, Wednesday - Wizards vs. Barons, Thursday - Paladins vs. Monarchs and Friday - No Game (midterms).
