KIDS HELP PHONE FROM SIS, ATHENA AND MISCOUCHE - Brief meeting for those students who participated today at the a.m. recess in the Lecture Theatre.
CSLC RECYCLING COMMITTEE - Meeting today at 12:00 noon in Room 619. The following students are asked to be there: Adam A’Hearn, Brittany Gilbert, Cody Gallant, Sarah Chace and Tiffany Shaw.
TRAVEL CLUB - Meeting for those interested in going to Italy/Greece March Break, 2009 on Friday, Sept. 19th at 6:00 p.m. in the Lecture Theatre. Parents are welcome.

TOSH GOLF STUDENTS - Are asked to meet at the lunch bell in the Industrial Arts area.
WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL - Won their home opener to Rural last night 3-0.
RUN FOR FITNESS- Will take place Tues. and Thurs. at 3:30 p.m. lead by Mr. MacKinnon. All cross country runners, teachers, students, fall sport teams and coaches are invited to run the 3,5, and 8 klm. Loops to be posted in athletics.
POWER LIFTING TEAM - Meeting Tues., Sept. 16th at 12:00 noon in the gym classroom. Students still wanting to join the team, should attend this meeting.
FORMER SIS ATHLETES (or those who may be interested) - SIS is selling off their old sports teams uniforms at a cost of $3.00 a uniform up until this Friday. Come and get your old uniform and the memories that go with it.
GENERAL:
POSITIVE CHOICES - A program for Grade 10 students will begin this Wed., Sept. 17th in the lecture Theatre. Your home room teachers will be telling you which group you are in today. You are asked to bring a pencil and your agenda for this first session tomorrow.

Block B-Group 1, Block A-Group 2, Block D-Group 3, and Block C-Group 4.
REACH FOR THE TOP - The list of teams has been posted outside Room 417. The first game will be on Wednesday. There is still room for one more team. See Mr. David Gallant if you are interested.
GRADUATION RINGS - JOSTEN’S - Will be here today at noon.
MARITIME IDOL COMPETITION - Beginning next Tues., Sept. 16th at The Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club. Ages are 12 and up.
HECKBERT GRADUATION PHOTO - SIGN UP SHEET - Is posted in the main lobby. Graduation photos will begin on Monday, Sept. 22nd. Reminder that a $20.00 sitting fee is required the day the photo is taken.
STUDENT SCHOOL PHOTOS - Will begin on Wednesday September 17th, 2008.
GRADE 12'S - Just a reminder that today is the last day we will be accepting nominations for class officers for the class of 2009. Pick up your forms in the main office.
